Code Labs Academy is an international technology education school that helps learners across Portugal (and beyond) build real, job-relevant tech skills

In a world of constant change, learning isn’t a one-off event — it’s a lifelong advantage. We believe everyone should have access to high-quality tech education, regardless of background, previous degree, or prior experience.

Our mission is to help more people in Portugal feel confident using technology, creating with it, and participating in the digital economy — from building web applications to working with data, automation, and modern product teams.

To support that mission, we run free online and in-person learning experiences whenever possible, design our programmes with no entry prerequisites, and teach through practice: real projects, real feedback, and real skills you can use immediately.

We also recognise that funding can be a key part of access. In Portugal, many learners may be eligible for public support for training and digital upskilling — including IEFP measures such as Cheque-Formação and Cheque-Formação + Digital, and broader national and EU initiatives (for example UPskill and programmes under Portugal 2030). We can help you understand what’s relevant and where to start, while eligibility and application windows remain subject to official rules.

Our Story

Founded in 2021, Code Labs Academy was created to close a growing gap: organisations need practical digital skills, and learners want a clear, supported way to build them. Traditional routes don’t always keep pace with how quickly technology evolves — so we built a more agile, project-based approach to learning.

Everything we do is centred on learner progress. That means accessible teaching, structured practice, and support that goes beyond the classroom: office hours, feedback loops, and 1:1 coaching when you need it. Our bootcamps are designed to fit real lives — with a 12-week full-time option or a 24-week part-time track — so learners in Portugal can build portfolios and confidence without putting everything else on hold. Our programme areas include Web Development, UX/UI Design, Cybersecurity, and Data Science & AI.
